Family Sanctuary

Peaceful Pines Family Sanctuary is a beautiful countryside memorial park (cremation-only) that inspires calm and tranquility. Our clients always comment on this aspect when they come to visit their loved ones. We are a non – denominational memorial park. Everyone is welcome here. The grounds were blessed October 7, 2007 at our dedication.

Special care was taken in the layout and landscaping of this quaint final resting place that is surrounded by towering pines.

At Peaceful Pines Family Sanctuary, we provide burial service for you and for your pet(s). Your pets are not just welcome to visit this location, but they are welcome to join you in your final resting place. To remember and to be remembered is a natural human need. Having a permanent, dignified resting place is an important emotional function for survivors by helping to bring closure and allowing the healing to begin.

Peaceful Pines Pet Memorials offers a peaceful serene area where our clients may view their beloved pet(s) and offer their final tributes prior to burial.

Pet Memorials

Peaceful Pines Pet Memorials is a full service pet memorial park and crematorium located just outside of Mosinee, WI. Peaceful Pines was founded by Gerry and Shirley Graveen under the premise that bereaved pet owners should be provided with a final resting place for their beloved pets.

Peaceful Pines is now owned by Roni Drexler, who was mentored by the Graveens for a few years prior to their retirement in 2021.

We provide individualized service for each memorial and guarantee that your pet will be cared for with the utmost respect.

Many Services to Honor Your Beloved Pet

  • Flower Program

    We offer a flower program at our facility for those interested. Spring and late Fall I will send a notice to inform you that I will be ordering seasonal silk bouquets. You are under no obligation. This is just an affordable service we offer our clients for your convenience.

  • Pre-Planning

    Pre-Planning is a practical way and a wise way to protect your family. Funeral expenses almost double every ten years. That is why it is so important to protect them from this financial burden. Peaceful Pines Family Sanctuary provides a full array of services to make a very emotional time less painful. We offer a pre-planning guide to help- you and your funeral director plan for your personal request.

  • Memorial Markers

    Peaceful Pines Family Sanctuary is a memorial park so with this in mind we would recommend mainly flush, beveled, and slant granite memorials. We are a family run business. There are no high pressure commission sales. All foundations, memorial markers and government markers will be placed by Peaceful Pines Family Sanctuary. In order to have an orderly and beautiful memorial park we have set requirements on memorial marker sizes.

Burial Services

Peaceful Pines Pet Memorial Park is a beautiful area with white fencing, statues, trees, flowers, shrubs and benches. Our burial grounds are deeded to insure our clients’ peace of mind. Visitation is from sun-up to sun-down, seven days a week.

As your pet rests on the pedestal in our slumber area in your casket of choice. We give the family as much time as is needed to give your final farewells. After the casket is sealed we proceed to the memorial park where the plot has been chosen and made ready for burial. We read a poem and give each family member the opportunity to put a shovel of dirt into the plot. We donate the first bouquet of flowers to your plot and as soon as the memorial marker is shipped we pour a concrete surround and set the memorial for your beloved pet.

Our facility requires a one time perpetual care payment for all burials in our memorial park. In order to maintain the high standards of the Memorial Park and to insure the upkeep and beautification of the grounds today and always.

Providing Burial Services for You & Your Pets

Peaceful Pines Family Sanctuary Offers Many Lot Sizes to Fulfill Your Needs

  • Single Lot

    This lot is for one person. You may add up to four pets to be laid to rest by your side.

  • Double Lot

    This lot is designed for two people. You may add up to eight pets to the double lot. This lot can also be used for one person and up to 16 pets. (Restrictions apply if over four pets)

  • Family Lot

    This lot is designed for four people. You may add up to 12 pets to this lot with four people, 16 pets with three people, 20 pets with two people or 24 pets with one person. (Restrictions apply if over eight pets)

Pre-Need Services

 

Peaceful Pines offers pre-need services for burial in our Family Sanctuary and Pet Memorial Park. This allows those who wish to preplan by reserving a plot, making arrangements and making payments in advance.

Preplanning is a great way to alleviate the burden from your loved ones by making a difficult time less painful emotionally and financially. Payment plans are available to fit your needs.

Cremation Services

A growing number of pet owners request their pets be individually cremated. We believe that the sanctity of the cremation is extremely important and understand the importance to you, the pet owner, as well.

All pets entrusted to Peaceful Pines Pet Memorials, LLC are handled with care, dignity, and the respect they deserve.

Peaceful Pines also provides cremation services to many local veterinary clinics, pet hospitals and humane societies.

A Priority Private cremation is an option for those clients who wish to have their pet cremated and returned the same day or within 24 hours.

Scatter Garden

Our Scatter Garden is designated for those pets who are cremated with others and not returned to their families (Group/Communal cremations). This is a cost effective way to memorialize your faithful friend and companion.

The Scatter Garden is located in the Northwest corner of the Pet Memorial Park. Anyone is welcome to visit anytime during the day.

A personalized plate (up to 3 lines/45 characters) may be ordered as a tribute to your pet to be placed on our large Scatter Garden granite memorial marker.

Honor Garden

Honoring Those That Devoted Their Lives to Us.

The unique Peaceful Pines Pet Memorials Honor Garden is a special area in our memorial park that is signified by an American Flag accompanied by a bronzed statue of a guard dog.

Our Way of Saying Thank You to Our Canine Heroes.

Peaceful Pines Pet Memorials feels that something special should be done for the local canines that devote their lives to human safety and protection. All local Therapy Dogs with minimum hundred and fifty hours of service, Hearing Ear Dogs, Seeing Eye Dogs, and Police Department Canines will have their burial plots donated by Peaceful Pines Pet Memorials.
